Registration Information
In the experiments on this website, you'll be asked to look at images or words on the screen and remember information about them, or possibly make other kinds of judgements. The exact details of each experiment will be spelt out before you take part, so that you can indicate your informed consent prior to participating in any experiment.
At the end of each experiment we will give you some feedback about what the experiment is about.
We will not be able to provide feedback about your individual performance. However, we willl report the experiment results on the blog associated with this website at a later date.
Your responses will only be used for research purposes and will not be passed on to anyone for any other purpose. They cannot be used for any clinical or diagnostic purpose.
You must register in order to participate. To register you will have to provide a username, a password and an email address. We do ask for additional information but it is entirely left to your discretion as to whether you provide it. More information on data can be found on our Information FAQ page
The studies on this website are all ethically approved by the Research Ethics Committee at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. More information about research ethics at QMU can be found here .
